My stay at Dar Silsila was truly good. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the souks and Jemaa el Fna, though getting lost in the Medina was part of the charm! I loved enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace with stunning views, especially with all the delicious Moroccan mint tea flowing. However, there were times when I wished for more variety in the dining options offered on-site.

Being situated in a quiet dead-end alley made it feel like a hidden gem, yet I was still close enough to all the main attractions in the Medina.

My stay at Dar Silsila was a mix of good experiences and some challenges. The hospitality and the peaceful ambiance were definitely highlights. However, I faced minor inconveniences with my room and a strange encounter with staff that took away from the overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable, though mine had some peculiarities. My first room was quite noisy due to equipment nearby, affecting my sleep. After moving to a better room, I enjoyed a cool and airy environment, although the layout was a bit unconventional with the bathroom situated apart from the bedroom. I appreciated the large space but wished for more thorough attention to details.
Service
8.0
The service was generally great, with staff being very accommodating, especially when one of my companions fell ill. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, but I did experience an odd encounter with one staff member that was unsettling.
Location
8.0
The location is ideal, within a safe walking distance from the bustling Jemaa El Fna and the souks, though it includes a slightly daunting walk through a dead-end alley. Once I got used to it, the area felt quite secure.
Dining

Breakfast was always a treat with various typical Moroccan options and freshly cooked items each day. I especially loved the fresh croissants and the inviting communal dining area, making meals feel like a special occasion.
Facilities

The Dar itself is beautifully adorned and inviting with a lovely terrace for relaxation. However, I found some facilities like the pool to be underwhelming, as it was quite small. The Wi-Fi was a bit unstable at times but still manageable.

My stay at Dar Silsila was nothing short of magical. The riad's beauty and tranquility provided a much-needed escape from the bustling Medina, yet it was conveniently located just minutes from the Souks. The staff's really good hospitality truly made my experience lovely. The only downside was the slightly daunting alleyway leading to the riad, but once inside, it was like stepping into a serene oasis.

My stay at Dar Silsila was nothing short of really good, marked by the warmth and attentiveness of its staff. The location in the medina made it easy to explore, though the alley leading to it could feel a bit obscure at first. The room was spacious and clean, though I had a few minor concerns about the bathroom setup being a bit unconventional. Overall, this place gave me a genuine taste of Moroccan hospitality that I won't soon forget.

The room was spacious and very clean, providing a comfortable stay. However, the bathroom's location could lack privacy and access was a bit unconventional, crossing through the massage room. The twin bed felt more like a sofa, which was unexpected.

The service was excellent, with attentive staff like Hannan and Abdoul catering to every need. I felt truly cared for, especially with their willingness to help sort out transport and show genuine interest in my experience.

The riad is located in a quiet dead-end alley, which made it feel safe and secluded yet was only a short walk away from the hustle of the medina. This balance of peace and accessibility was ideal for me.

The breakfast was delicious, featuring a variety of Moroccan fare that changed daily. It really set me up for the day but could benefit from a few more options overall.

While the amenities were generally great, including a good hammam experience, the plunge pool was quite small and not really suitable for swimming—a more cooling option.

My stay at Dar Silsila was simply good, with warm and attentive service, and a fantastic location close to the bustling Medina. The cozy ambiance made me feel right at home, though the bathroom arrangement in my room wasn't ideal due to privacy concerns. Overall, I left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for such a personalized experience during my time in Marrakech.

I stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious and clean, though the bathroom was separate and lacked privacy, as it was through another room. The firm bed was comfy but the shower pressure could be better.
